How to access your trading account
We will never ask for your login information. Do not share your username, email and/or password.
Only share your MT4 account number when asked by a member of the AlgoAlpha team.
Broker login
Brokers typically provide an online portal or backend system accessible through their website. This backend allows traders to manage various aspects of their trading accounts, such as account information, deposits, withdrawals, and account settings.
The broker will provide specific credentials for Metatrader, which are different from your regular login for the broker website.
Metatrader login
Using Metatrader, you can execute various trading operations such as placing market orders, setting pending orders, modifying existing orders, and closing positions. The platform offers advanced charting tools, technical indicators, and expert advisors (EAs) to assist traders in making informed trading decisions.
Your broker will provide you with separate credentials for Metatrader.
The following is an example of what your MT4 credentials might look like:

- MT4 account number (usually 6-12 digits)
- MT4 account password (a randomly created passphrase)
We will never ask for your MT4 account password. Do not share this information with anyone!
MT4 account number
The MT4 account number is a unique identification number assigned to each individual trading account on the MetaTrader 4 platform. It's like a username for accessing and managing your account within the MT4 platform. This number is essential for logging into your account, making transactions, and tracking your trading activity. Think of it as your personal ID within the MT4 system, helping you keep track of your trades and account details.
You will need to provide your MT4 account number in order to complete the activation and setup.
